Guardian, 25 Jun 2022
Democratic lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was escorted by police on Friday as she walked the short distance separating the Capitol and the Supreme Court buildings in Washington DC to join pro-abortion right groups protesting the dramatic ruling of overturning the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade case that recognised a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
