November 24 marks the 5th anniversary of the landmark peace treaty between the government of Colombia and FARC rebels.

But half a decade later, the promised peace in the country has not been achieved and the window for doing so might be closing.


Alessandro Rampietti travelled to Cauca in southwest Colombia to speak to former fighters struggling to reintegrate into society as new armed groups fight for control of the territory.
