High-level government officials, diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations, experts and scholars from around the world, especially the global south, gather at the "2021 South-South Human Rights Forum" in Beijing on December 8. They will be discussing the current situation, challenges and opportunities in the field of human rights.
This third edition of the biennial forum has taken as its themes "Putting People First" and "Global Human Rights Governance." It is co-hosted by China's State Council Information Office (SCIO) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and organized by CGTN Think Tank.
