The European Union and the Taliban have held talks in the Qatari capital Doha to discuss issues concerning the regional situation, humanitarian aid and security. The EU delegation said the bloc will continue to offer support to the Afghan people, and it will establish an office in Kabul to handle humanitarian work. The Taliban said the humanitarian issue should be addressed separately from politics, as it stressed to push forward relevant work through cooperation rather than pressure.
