The four-person SpaceX, Axiom Space and NASA crew are planning to depart from the International Space Station and return to Earth with a splashdown Tuesday. After performing a series of burns to move away from the space station, the spacecraft Dragon will conduct multiple orbit-lowering maneuvers, jettison its trunk, and re-enter Earth’s atmosphere, landing off the coast of Florida 12 hours later.

Aboard the spacecraft are astronauts Peggy Whitson, John Shoffner, Ali Algarni, and Rayyanah Barnawi, who flew to the space station on Sunday, May 21. https://apnews.com/hub/spacex
