Who is Russian "Merchant of Death" in Brittney Griner prisoner swap?

American WNBA star Brittney Griner has been released from a Russian prison in exchange for arms dealer Viktor Bout.

Known as the "Merchant of Death," Bout was serving a 25-year sentence for conspiring to kill Americans by selling weapons to terrorists.

While this is the news Griner and her family have desperately been waiting for, our Farah Nasser explains who Bout is, and why another American, former U.S. marine Paul Whelan, is still languishing in a Russian prison.
