Mick Lynch says the unions are being made out to be 'the bogeymen' by Rishi Sunak, who he believes 'gave in to backbenchers who want this strike action to go ahead'. A series of strikes are expected to proceed over the Christmas period, although the transport minister said negotiations were ongoing on Wednesday.
