Mali jihadist threat: Militants step up attacks, edge closer to Bamako • FRANCE 24 English

This Wednesday marks 10 years since the French military intervention in Mali began to quash jihadist groups. The campaign officially ended last year. But those jihadist groups, from Al Qaeda to the Islamic State, are stepping up attacks near the capital Bamako, and in western Mali, towards Senegal. FRANCE 24's Terrorism Expert Wassim Nasr tells us more.
