Chris Hipkins is sworn in as New Zealand's prime minister by the country's governor-general during a ceremony at Government House in Wellington, following the resignation of Jacinda Ardern. Hipkins, the architect of the country's pandemic response, is now tasked with reviving the government's sagging popularity ahead of a general election in October.
