Survivors are recalling the moments after a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten outside the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on January 18, 2023, killing 18 people, including three top officials and at least four children. Mykola Antonov, father of a five-year-old boy who was attending the nursery, recalled the moment he blocked a window to stop burning fuel from entering the room after the crash in Brovary, located nearly 20km (12 miles) northeast of Kyiv.
