Prime Minister's Questions will get under way in less than an hour. Strikes dominated last week's exchanges between Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer.

Sir Keir criticised the Government over its new anti-strike laws while the Prime Minister slammed the Labour leader for failing to support the minimum service levels legislation as he claimed his counterpart was "on the side of his union paymasters".

Today's edition of PMQs is likely to play out along similar lines. It will be difficult, perhaps even impossible, for the leaders to ignore today's nursing walkout.

The real question is whether they will have anything new to say about the ongoing standoff between the Government and union bosses.
