Russian media have reported that a prominent military blogger was killed after he was presented with a statue containing explosives.

Vladlen Tatarsky was a vocal supporter of the war and had made videos on social media declaring "we will rob and kill" Ukrainians.

Reports said the blogger was killed after being presented with a small statue by a woman at an event in St Petersburg.

Cyber Front Z, a group calling itself "Russia's information troops" on Telegram, said it had hired out the cafe.
