Tianya Haijiao, or the "end of the earth and sea", is a popular tourist attraction in Sanya City, south China's Hainan Province. It is a romantic scenic spot where lovers travel to marry every year and many newlyweds spend part of their honeymoon. Among the most-visited parts at the site are two famous rocks engraved with Chinese characters "天涯 (tianya)" and "海角 (haijiao)", which mean the "edge of the heaven" and the "corner of the sea" respectively.
