How did a quaint medieval town in Hungary establish close ties with China? What benefits did its population reap? In this edition of the Hub with Wang Guan, Sopron Mayor Ciprian Farkas looks at cooperation and exchanges with China. He tells Wang Guan that Sopron is famous for its architecture and its wine and welcomes tourists from China. But Sopron is also a logistics platform connecting Hungary and its neighbors with China's Belt and Road Initiative. He notes that China is a crucial partner and has been a prominent investor in Hungary. The potential is growing and everyone should be aware of that, he says. Farkas also salutes China's three main global initiatives, calling China's development "a great miracle."
