Iran’s state TV was hijacked during a broadcast of a speech by the supreme leader to instead show pictures of the young women who have been killed in the protests and women cutting their hair in acts of solidarity.

They also displayed a picture of Khamenei with the phrase “the blood of our youth is on your hands,” according to Iran International.

The hack came as the protests entered their fourth week.

The growing nationwide strike widened to include many shopkeepers over the weekend, as protests at universities ignited again.
