The Tibar Bay Port, contracted by a Chinese company for construction, will play an important role in promoting Timor-Leste's comprehensive development and serve as another cornerstone for the country's 20-year development plan. Situated in the capital city of Dili, the Tibar Bay Port, one of the projects under the Belt and Road Initiative, is Timor-Leste's first modern container terminal. Its construction is the largest infrastructure investment project since the country's founding.
