China's autumn harvest totals 65.9 million hectares

The harvesting of 48,000 hectares of rice is coming to an end in Yingshang County, east China's Anhui Province. Local governments equipped all harvesters with loss prevention features this year, reducing the average rice harvest loss rate to 1.6 percent.
In Qingyun County, east China's Shandong Province, new underground pipe drainage and irrigation technology was effectively implemented across provincial farmland this year.
At present, nearly 40 percent of winter wheat has been sown across China, according to officials.
