Istanbul blast: Kurds deny role in attack despite Turkish accusations • FRANCE 24 English

The Turkish govt has accused a Syrian woman of planting a bomb that killed six people yesterday - blaming the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party for the attack. But in a statement published today, the PKK denied involvement. More than 80 other people were wounded in the explosion on Istanbul's famous Istiklal Avenue. FRANCE 24's Carys Garland, Solange Mougin and Catherine Kedhir-Clifford report.
