Veterans Affairs investigation finds 2 more cases of assisted dying discussions
CA, 25 Nov 2022
Two more instances of a Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) employee inappropriately discussing medically assisted death with a veteran have emerged, despite the department's initial claims there was only one case, first reported by Global News.
This brings the total number of cases involving a single VAC service agent to four since 2019.
Global's Mackenzie Gray explains how this contradicts what Veterans Affairs Minister Lawrence MacAulay told "The West Block" earlier this month and how the investigation into these conversations has expanded.
