Pakistan currently places 157th out of 180 countries in the Reporters Without Borders press freedom index. The situation in the country causes many journalists to flee, including Taha Siddiqui, who's been a refugee in France since 2018. Siddiqui, an investigative journalist, winner of the Albert Londres award and former FRANCE 24 correspondent, published his first comic book on Wednesday. It offers a look into his journey struggling with religious fundamentalists and his fight for access to information and freedom of expression.
