At the beginning of the press conference, German Chancellor Scholz walks over to the wrong side of the stage and stands in front of the Ukrainian flag. President Zelensky notices and says 'I think that's our flag, but thank you very much'. President Macron, who is stood in between the two leader giggles and gestures for them to swap positions.

Zelensky visited Macron and Scholz in Paris to push for more support from the EU in Ukraine. The European leaders reaffirmed their ongoing support for Zelensky and Ukraine.

Prior to Zelensky's evening visit to France, he landed in Britain and spent the day with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Zelensky met with MPs and later was shown around a military base where Ukrainian soldiers are being trained to use Challenger II tanks.

Rishi Sunak has laid the groundwork for Britain to send fighter jets to Ukraine after an impassioned plea from Volodymyr Zelensky during his surprise trip to the UK.

The Prime Minister ordered the Ministry of Defence to look into how planes could be provided and announced that Ukrainian pilots would be trained in Britain.

Volodymr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron will fly from Paris to Brussels on Thursday morning to attend a summit of EU heads of state and government, the Elysee Palace announced.
