Russia has launched new military offensives in Ukraine, Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on February 13, 2023, a day before the transatlantic security alliance holds its meeting of defence ministers to discuss Kyiv’s requests for more weapons. He also urged Nato members to ramp up their military support for Ukraine as there was “no sign whatsoever” that Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing for peace.
