Cannabis shops in Thailand are putting out menus and signs in Mandarin to attract tourists from China. The country expects at least 30 million foreign visitors in 2023, with about a quarter of them coming from China. Thailand was the first Southeast Asian country to legalise cannabis for medical use in 2018. The country decriminalised the drug in June 2022 as the government pushed to develop the industry.
