The simmering "China Threats" prevailing in recent years stems from a belief that China stands as a threat to the sole hegemon, the United States.
CGTN spoke with Einar Tangen, a political and economic affairs commentator, about the basis of this so-called "China Threat" at Our World forum.
Tangen observes the U.S. considers China a "threat" because it believes it is exceptional. The U.S. is also intolerable of other systems that prove to be more successful than its own.
