Donald Trump is now the first former President of the United States to face criminal charges, after being indicted for his alleged role in hush money paid to porn actress Stormy Daniels.

Lawyers have been negotiating the terms, and have confirmed he will not be handcuffed when he faces a judge next Tuesday.

His lawyer told Sky News that the criminal charges are election interference.

But in an interview with The Times newspaper, Stormy Daniels said it means the former President is no longer untouchable.
