The Israeli parliament approves in a final reading - 61 to 47 - an amendment to the country's quasi-constitution that considerably limits the possibilities of a prime minister being impeached. Opponents say the measure is aimed at protecting premier Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption charges he denies.
