The death toll from a suicide bombing at a Shiite mosque in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar has risen to 56, a hospital official said on Friday.
194 people were also brought to hospital including ten in critical condition, Mohammad Asim, spokesperson for the Lady Reading Hospital, said.
An eyewitness said that the suicide bomber looked like he was in his early 20s. "He was clean-shaven, had no beard or moustache," he added.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, one of the deadliest in years on Pakistan's Shiite minority.
