As thousands flee the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there are still some who are trying to enter the country, but not without difficulty.

The country is under a national curfew, with Lviv preventing residents from being on the streets after 10 p.m. local time, nor are they allowed to show light through their windows. Global News has been reporting on the ongoing refugee crisis from several neighbouring countries, but on Saturday a team left Poland and made the trek into Ukraine.

Mike Armstrong made that journey and gives a first-hand view of what he experienced to get to Lviv.
