Russia conducts missile tests amid mounting concerns about possible Ukraine invasion
CA, 20 Feb 2022
Russia launched nuclear exercises Saturday amid mounting concerns about a possible Ukraine invasion.
The Kremlin said they had successfully test-launched hypersonic and cruise missiles at land and sea targets.
The weapons drills come as Washington, D.C. has said Russian troops are moving forward and “poised to strike."
Ukrainian armed forces and border guards have also reported increased shelling, which western countries have suggested is part of a pretext for Russia to invade.
