Labour has slammed the government's response to the refugee crisis, calling it 'too slow, too complicated and far too mean'.

Speaking to Sky's Kay Burley, Shadow Transport Secretary, Louise Haigh said the UK needed to 'step up' its response and clarification was needed over the new scheme for people to take Ukrainian refugees into their homes.
