"The Hub with Wang Guan" presents "Missions & Visions," a webinar that is part of CGTN's Global Arena Program on China's global image. Wang asks if the West gets China wrong as polls suggest that China is viewed increasingly negatively. He is joined by American writer, political economist, director and producer Laurence J. Brahm; best-selling author, journalist and documentary filmmaker Frank Sieren; host of "Silk and Steel" and Key Opinion Leader Frank Sieren; and Teng Jimeng, professor at the Center for American Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University. Panelists put it down to intentional misinformation, political bias and cultural prejudice, leading ultimately to ignorance from the general public. With China delivering results and being increasingly outspoken, a change in attitudes is however likely to reverse the current trend.
