Russia-Ukraine conflict: US sanctions having impact far beyond Russian borders

The leaders of France and Germany spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday, hoping to secure a ceasefire.
A French government official, however, said Putin did not show a willingness to end the war.
The meetings come as U.S. President Joe Biden ramps up trade and economic sanctions in a bid to further squeeze the Russian economy. But as Jennifer Johnson reports, those sanctions are having an impact far beyond Russia’s border.
