Russia-Ukraine conflict: Flood of Ukrainian refugees line up seeking safety in Moldova

Thousands of displaced Ukrainians are pouring into neighbouring Moldova, as the refugee crisis sparked by Russia's invasion keeps worsening.
Moldova is a former Soviet republic between Ukraine and Romania and is home to 2.6 million people. It is not a member of either NATO or the European Union, although the country's president has applied to join the EU.
