Moscow says no need for sending peacekeepers to Ukraine

CGTN, 14 Mar 2022
The Russian foreign ministry says there is no need to send UN peacekeepers to Ukraine, as Russia is in control. Kyiv says it will try to evacuate civilians via the 10 humanitarian corridors, including those looking to leave in towns near the capital and in Luhansk. A new round of talks between the two sides is scheduled to take place at 0830GMT via video link. A Russian negotiator claims progress has been made during the previous round of talks on Sunday. Three rounds of talks have been ongoing since the beginning of the Ukraine conflict. However, no significant breakthroughs have been made so far.
