'One kidney village': The Afghans selling organs to survive • FRANCE 24 English

A growing number of Afghans are selling their kidneys as the country descends into economic crisis following the takeover by the Taliban six months ago. The practice has become so widespread in the western city of Herat that a nearby settlement has been nicknamed "one kidney village".
