Many Ukrainians are fleeing the country amid violent Russian attacks, heading into Poland – a European Union (EU) member nation.

Several countries in the European Union are calling on the EU to immediately designate Ukraine as candidate country.

But with Russia’s war on the nation, if Ukraine’s application were to be expedited and granted, what would this mean for the rest of the countries in the EU?

As Mike Armstrong reports, if membership were to be accepted, this could mean more countries at war with Russia.
