Amid fears of an advance by Russian invasion forces, the streets of Odesa have fallen silent as many civilians flee and Ukrainian troops continue to fortify the port city. Since the start of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, volunteers have been building barricades around the southern city located on the Black Sea.
