Sir Keir Starmer grilled Boris Johnson over P&O's decision to sack 800 workers earlier this week at Prime Minister's Questions in the House of Commons.

Sir Keir asked "what's the point" of Mr Johnson's administration if it is unable to stop such events.

Mr Johnson replied that the Government 'condemns the callous behaviour of P&O' and says the sackings were "no way to treat hardworking employees".

The Prime Minister also tells the Commons he believes it looks like P&O "has broken the law".
