Video has emerged showing an attack on a local market in the besieged northern city of Chernihiv. It came despite a pledge from the Russian government on Tuesday that they would scale back on offensives on Kyiv and Chernihiv to support progress in peace talks. There were also reports on Wednesday of attacks on Kyiv.
In Donetsk, two people were killed as of Wednesday evening when a Ukrainian missile hit an apartment block building. It came as the country's government said Russian forces were intensifying attacks in eastern Donetsk.
