Russian Defence ministry images show drills on the military training fields of Kuzminskiy and Kadamovskiy, near Rostov-on-Don, less than 50 kilometres from the Ukrainian border. According to the ministry, more than 2.5 thousand servicemen of the Southern Military District took part in the combat training events, about 100 T-72B3 tanks were involved.
