'R number substantially above one' says epidemiologist

Professor Paul Elliot, Chair of Epidemiology and Public Health medicine at Imperial College in London says the 'R number is substantially over one'.

Boris Johnson is not expected to announce post-Christmas COVID restrictions this week, a senior government source told Sky News.
