Unemployment, corruption high on agenda in Costa Rice election
Al Jazeera, 06 Feb 2022
It is election day in Costa Rica, where high unemployment and corruption are major issues for voters.
They will be voting for a new president along with legislators, and this time there are a record 25 candidates in the running for president.
Whichever candidate wins, they will need the support of the congress to tackle Costa Rica’s woes - and those seats are up for grabs this Sunday.
