Boris Johnson sticks ‘absolutely’ to what he’s said about parties as Sue Gray submits report
Telegraph, 31 Jan 2022
Boris Johnson has refused to answer any questions on the Sue Gray report, which has been received by Downing Street, prior to its publication.
Asked if he understood why some people were concerned about the prospect of a whitewash, the prime minister said: "You're going to have to wait and see both what Sue says and also, of course, what the Met says."
Pressed on whether he felt he had done anything wrong, he said: "You're going to have to wait to see the outcome. You're going to have to wait to see the outcome of the investigations and I stick absolutely to what I said in the past but I'm here to talk about the freeports that we're doing around the UK.
"You're going to have to wait and see what the investigations say, with all due respect."
