Overturning right to abortion in US an attack on freedoms, says VP Kamala Harris

Overturning the legal right of all Americans to abortion would be an attack on freedoms, the US Vice President Kamala Harris has said.
Ms Harris made the remarks after a document was leaked suggesting the Supreme Court may be about to reverse the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade ruling.
She accused Republican leaders of "weaponising the use of the law against women".
The leaked document - labelled "1st Draft" - is not a final ruling, and the opinions of judges could change. But if Roe v Wade is overturned, around half of US states could ban abortions.
