Maxar satellite images show the aftermath of historic rainfall and flooding in South Africa's Durban city, which has one of the southern hemisphere's largest ports and is the busiest gateway to seaborne trade for countries in southern Africa. Today’s imagery shows significant impact to parts of Durban’s infrastructure including roads and highways, Durban’s primary railyard near the port, multiple shipping container facilities and an oil refinery south of the city.
