Kwasi Kwarteng Secretary of State for Business has played down the prospect of a trade war with the EU if the UK pulls out of the Northern Ireland Protocol.

He told Sophy Ridge: "Stability in Northern Ireland is our number one priority."

Mr Kwarteng also said it is "absolutely right" for the UK to consider unilaterally changing the protocol.
