The rest of Europe may not be at war but is it ready for the sacrifices of a wartime economy? The Kremlin shutting the tap on Bulgaria and Poland may be but a prelude to a brutally swift transition away from Russian gas and oil. Deals will be dropped, money will be lost. 

Will citizens revolt when they receive their next jaw-dropping energy bill or do they agree that the invasion of Ukraine once and for all ended the argument with those espouse doing deals with Vladimir Putin as a means of encouraging peace through trade? Even Germany's changing course.
