The monarch spoke about how Covid left her 'exhausted' in a video call with NHS staff and former patients for the opening of aa new critical care unit in the Royal London hospital in Whitechapel. The new 155-bed unit was built in just five weeks, with the Queen commenting, "It is very interesting, isn’t it, when there is some very vital thing, how everybody works together and pulls together – marvellous, isn’t it?"
