Eastern Ukraine braces as Russia focuses on 'liberation' of Donbas region

Residents of eastern Ukraine are bracing for an anticipated Russian offensive as the Kremlin switches focus from Kyiv to the Donbas region. US President Joe Biden has accused Vladimir Putin of committing genocide against civilians in Ukraine, and Washington warns the Donbas offensive might involve chemical weapons. Pro-Russian rebels have been fighting Ukrainian forces in the Donbas since 2014.
