Festivities celebrating Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne will wrap up on Sunday with the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, which tells the story of her reign in four parts.

The pageant will open with a military spectacle, honouring the U.K. armed forces from across the Commonwealth, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Ghana and Belize among others.

It will then showcase British life and spirit since 1952 when she acceded to the throne following her father's death.

According to the program for the event, the third act will "harness creativity, ingenuity, humour and community spirit," and will include the "very best" of Carnival, May Day, Mela, Fiesta and Mardi Gras to celebrate the Queen's life experience.

The procession will end at the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace.
